Job Description

Below you will find a 6+ month contract as a .NET Developer with Brunswick located in Muskegon, MI.  The main focus is on C# and WPF, please make sure candidates have extensive experience with this.  This person will also need excellent communications!!  We have had a couple interviews that didn’t pass because of communications.  Also, they are not looking for a web person. 

Have two contract positions

1 position candidate must know WPF and hit the ground running

both candidates must know C++,C# (not web development!)

communication is KEY!  This person needs to communicate with many different people

understanding of bowling and bowling terminology is a plus

Not much with C++ or VB.  Focus is C# 3.4 and 4.0.

Designs, develops and tests software components. Is familiar and capable in more than one language and development environment. Performs limited project management on small scope projects. May provide some technical guidance for one or two other software people for small projects. Supports field and customer inquiries within areas of expertise.

Accountabilities:

Designing, developing, and testing software components.

Designing software components. Works with software engineers, system engineers and customers to design solutions. Works with customers and internal experts to derive requirements.

Builds expertise in the 'known' development environments and gains education and experience in other related development environments and methods.

Supports field and customer requests for information and troubleshoot. 

Specific Skills/ Experience Requirements

Minimum, 4 year BS degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or similar curriculum with software development emphasis.

Job Requirements

5+ years of general, team-oriented software development.

.NET

C#

C++ and Visual Basic experience

WPF  

Embedded (firmware/middle-ware) experience

Commercial / production software experience

Experience / exposure with automated testing

Mobile app experience a plus

Comfortable supporting test lab activities

Comfortable supporting end users / customers
